Ministry & Criminal Justice

Service Description

This course examines the intersection of ministry and criminal justice within the context of the Church. Emphasis is placed on the historical, theological, and practical roles the Church has played in addressing issues of mass incarceration, systemic injustice, reentry support, and restorative justice. Through readings, discussions, and project-based assignments, students will develop tools to advocate for justice, support affected individuals and families and engage in transformative ministry.
